Demonstrating a proven commitment to being Green, Weber Shandwick proudly received ISO 14001 accreditation in May of 2007 for each of its offices across the United States, upholding its reputation as an industry leader by becoming the first public relations firm to earn this exemplary distinction. The ISO 14001 certification is an internationally recognized framework for environmental management, measurement, evaluation and auditing. We at Powell Tate proudly tout our proficiency in recycling, saving paper, and using energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs, among other steps.
Weber Shandwick's Corporate Social Responsibility Committee, comprised of employees from the executive suite to entry level, is responsible for setting, reviewing and delivering on our environmental objectives and targets, working with our offices worldwide to drive progress. Powell Tate joins the rest of Weber Shandwick in continually seeking to improve our environmental performance, aiming to minimize the environmental impact of our operations whenever possible as we move forward into a Greener future.
