Tim Ryan, Managing Director, Sawyer Miller Advertising
A veteran communication strategist, Tim has extensive experience in public affairs and advocacy campaigns on healthcare, defense, energy and environmental issues. Major clients have included: Team US101 (a consortium of AgustaWestland, Lockheed Martin and Bell Helicopters), the Coalition for the Advancement of Medical Research and the Partnership to Protect Consumer Credit.
Prior to joining the firm, Tim served as executive director of Citizens for Better Medicare, where he led the national coalition’s $100 million issue advocacy campaign on Medicare reform. Before this, as director of advertising for the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), Tim directed the association’s multi-million dollar education and issue advocacy campaign.
