Our work with the Council for Biotechnology Information has helped educate influencers on how biotechnology is helping the world’s farmers grow more and better food.
Council for Biotechnology Information
For more than 5 years, Powell Tate has worked with the Council for Biotechnology Information (CBI) to educate influencers on the benefits of agricultural biotechnology and its contributions to sustainability. CBI is a coalition of six agricultural biotechnology companies: BASF, Bayer CropScience, Dow AgroSciences LLC, DuPont, Monsanto and Syngenta. Through a dynamic website, social media outreach, traditional media relations and event sponsorships, we have helped CBI communicate how agricultural biotechnology helps farmers in the United States and around the world sustainably grow more and better food. We have built an extensive database of agricultural biotechnology experts to engage in conferences, events and media opportunities. We have secured media stories in leading agricultural trade outlets and local media channels as the result of the distribution of quarterly electronic newsletters to more than 1,000 editors and reporters across the United States. Most recently, we have partnered with The Atlantic to sponsor their annual Washington D.C. Food Summit.
