WORK

When did you start working at Powell Tate?

I joined Powell Tate in April 2017.

What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever gotten?

Get exposure to as many different clients, industries and projects as you can early in your career. I’ve worked with a range of organizations from different sectors on different issue areas – from healthcare to defense, global development to energy. Getting this broad experience ultimately introduced me to the global health and health policy work I am so passionate about, and it made me a more well-rounded professional. It’s also what I find so exciting about working at an agency!

What’s the coolest (or weirdest) place a project has taken you?

I’ve been lucky enough to travel quite a bit – visiting Kazakhstan, Paraguay, Mexico and Kenya to name a few. Those have all been memorable trips and I’ve loved getting to know our colleagues around the world.

What’s the best thing you’ve seen happen inside Powell Tate office?

I always enjoy our rooftop happy hours in the summer – it’s great to relax and spend time with colleagues.

If you weren’t working in this industry, what would you want to do?

I would be a pediatrician.

“There is so much opportunity to grow and learn. Powell Tate is invested in ensuring everyone can explore their interests, learn from the insights of a talented global team and bring innovative solutions to client challenges.”
